ONE MAN – A LOT OF MONKEYS – AND AN AWFUL LOT OF MONKEY BUSINESS….
‘Monkeys! Monkeys! Here and there!
Monkeys! Monkeys everywhere!
Mayhem’s a forgone conclusion,
these big baboons cause much confusion. |
What tricks might we have up our sleeve,
to make a troupe of monkeys leave?’
Yarn is currently working alongside winning performer Damien Warren-Smith (Mighty Wind) and producer Lauren Essinger to create Monkeys Everywhere. The show charts Garry Starr’s progress as he tries to find a calmer place to be amongst the madness of the monkey business that fills his mind. How can anyone get anything done when you can’t think for monkeys?
Monkeys Everywhere is a show for everyone – but especially for those who can’t always keep their monkeys under control… Comedy, music, puppetry and a lot of clowning around, alongside a huge amount of heart. It would be bananas to miss it…
The show is currently scheduled to open in 2024 and is suitable for all ages and most maturities…
STORAGE FACILITY AVAILABLE FOR HEARTS: BROKEN, DAMAGED OR REQUIRING REMEDIAL WORK.
Do you struggle with your emotions? Become easily overwhelmed? Suffer from heartbreak? Then leave your heart with us…
Deep in a vault under the city the caretaker offers you the chance to deposit your heart and safeguard your emotions, becoming part of a universal collection. A unique opportunity to have your heart carefully looked after, cherished and tended to until, when you have a change of heart, your ticker can be returned to you, fed and watered and good as new.
The Heart of the Story looks at how our hearts are affected by those who have gone before us. Those whose stories remind us that not everything in life will work easily, that disappointments occur and inequalities exist, but that we can recover, triumph, and maybe even find happiness.
This show is based on an idea conceived at Tall Stories.
Olivia is working with Andrew Mudie on the development of this production.
